Northern Helicopters is today the largest helicopter school in Sweden and its steady growing as the number one Scandinavian helicopter training company. Our base is at Axamo Airport by Jönköping in the center of Sweden. The location is easily reached from the major cities in Scandinavia. We are slowly building up other training locations to serve the helicopter market best.

We are constantly developing our own training material in order to deliver as efficient training as possible. Within the company we have expertise from training airline pilots for Boeing and Airbus aircraft. When we realized that the helicopter training has been in the backwater for a very long time we decided to develop and offer a better quality training as well as customer satisfaction. Many flight schools forget that the student is also a customer where he shall always be the priority.  Northern Helicopters will always be in the frontline of the future aviation training for helicopters.

We offer a warm and professional environment for both customers and staff, this is the place where customer satisfaction is a priority with top modern training equipment. Our equipment is the latest state of the art in helicopters that can be used for training with the Cabri G2 and EC120 as our main aircraft.

Quality and safety is our number one priority. Therefore, we have developed an advanced quality assurance program which ensures that we meet the highest standard of JAR FCL, EASA, JAR OPS, FAA and customer satisfaction in all respects.

For candidates who wish to start a professional helicopter pilot career, we will assist you with the often overlooked time building and the remaining training towards your Commercial licence.  We care about our students and their training progress. We do not mass produce helicopter pilots at our training center, we take our time with you and ensure that you will receive the best possible training.
